Cookie Policy
We keep cookies to the bare minimum needed to run the site, and we do not use behavioural tracking, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that profile you.
01What we use
| Name | Purpose, duration & category |
|---|---|
| Cart state (session storage) | Keeps your cart contents while you’re browsing. Stored in your browser; sent only when you place an order. Strictly necessary. Cleared when you close the tab. |
session (admin sign-in cookie) |
Set only after a member of our team signs in to the staff dashboard at /admin. HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, scoped to our domain. Strictly necessary. Expires after 7 days. |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid (Stripe) |
Set by Stripe when you reach a payment form, to detect fraud during checkout. Strictly necessary. __stripe_mid lasts 1 year; __stripe_sid 30 minutes. |
We do not use any advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social-media trackers, or session-replay tools.
02Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to measure aggregate site usage. Plausible does not set cookies, does not use local storage, and does not collect personal data — visits are recorded as anonymous, aggregated counts. There is nothing for you to consent to and nothing to opt out of.
03Legal basis & consent
Strictly necessary cookies operate under the legitimate-interest exemption in Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive (and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) and do not require consent. We disclose them here for transparency under Article 13 GDPR.
We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), so a “Do Not Sell or Share” opt-out is not applicable. See our Privacy Policy for full California rights.
04Browser controls
You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use a privacy-focused browser extension. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from completing a purchase or from staff signing into the dashboard, but everything else on the site continues to work.
Most browsers also support a “Global Privacy Control” signal, which we honour as an opt-out request where applicable.
05Changes & future tracking
If we ever add cookies that require consent (for example, advertising, retargeting, or behavioural analytics), we will implement a compliant consent banner — with prior opt-in for visitors in the EU and UK and a “Do Not Sell or Share” opt-out for California — before activating them. We will also update this page and the changelog at the top.
