Refund & Replacement Policy
Every commission is meaningful — it is meant to last. If yours arrives damaged, doesn’t feel right, or never arrives at all, we’ll make it right. The whole policy fits in plain language below.
01The Happiness Guarantee
If you are unhappy with your Bust for any reason, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will, at your choice, offer one of the following remedies:
- Free remake — we will produce a replacement Bust at no charge. Send new photographs if you’d like to.
- Store credit — equal to the full purchase price, valid for 24 months.
- Full refund — to your original payment method, in full.
You may keep the original Bust or pass it on; we don’t normally ask for it back. We’d also love to hear what we could have done better — only if you have time.
02Pre-production cancellation
Each Bust is custom-made from your photographs. Before we begin AI generation or 3D modelling — typically within 24 hours of placing your order — you can cancel for a full refund, no questions asked. After production has started, the “Doesn’t look like the person” option below applies.
03Damaged in shipping
Damage in transit is rare but it does happen. If your package arrives broken or with visible damage:
- Email us at hello@jagtarstudio.com within 14 days of delivery.
- Include photographs of the Bust, the inner packaging, and the outer carton.
- We will ship a free replacement immediately. You don’t need to return the damaged piece — please feel free to dispose of it.
We ask for photographs because they help us improve our packaging. Providing them is a courtesy, not a condition of your statutory rights.
04Lost in shipping
If tracking shows your shipment has not progressed for several days, contact us — we will investigate with the carrier on your behalf.
A package is treated as lost if:
- 30 days have passed since dispatch for shipments to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom or the European Union; or
- 45 days have passed for other international destinations.
Once that window passes we will replace the Bust at no cost. If a package is marked “delivered” by the carrier but not received, please report it within 7 days; we will assist with the carrier’s investigation, but replacement of confirmed-delivered packages is at our discretion.
05“Doesn’t look like the person”
Each Bust is a stylised artistic interpretation, not a photo-realistic replica (see our Terms of Service). If your Bust does not capture the person to your satisfaction, you may choose any of the three Happiness Guarantee remedies above. We may ask for new photographs if you choose a remake — better source material almost always produces a better Bust.
06How to make a claim
- Email hello@jagtarstudio.com from the address you used to order, with your order number (begins with JS-) in the subject line.
- Tell us briefly what went wrong and which remedy you would prefer.
- Include a photograph if the issue is visible.
- We will reply within one business day, usually faster.
07Refund timing
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank may take an additional 3–5 business days to post the credit. Replacement Busts follow our normal production and shipping timeline (approximately 12–15 working days).
08Statutory consumer rights
The Happiness Guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your non-excludable statutory rights. Depending on where you live, those may include:
- United Kingdom — rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a 30-day short-term right to reject non-conforming goods, and rights to repair, replacement and final rejection.
- European Union / EEA — rights under Directive 2019/771, including a two-year legal-conformity guarantee and the repair/replacement/refund hierarchy.
- Australia — rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees of acceptable quality and fitness for purpose, and the right to choose a remedy for a major failure.
- Ontario, Canada — rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and the Sale of Goods Act, including remedies for non-delivery, mistakes and unfair practices.
- United States — implied warranties under the Uniform Commercial Code (varies by state) and rights under the FTC Mail-Order Rule.
09Anti-abuse
The Happiness Guarantee is offered in good faith. We may decline or limit it where we reasonably suspect:
- Fraud, identity theft, or chargeback abuse;
- Repeat refund abuse — typically more than two refund requests across all orders associated with one customer, household, address or payment method;
- Violation of our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Service.
This limitation does not affect your statutory rights.
